Many times in life are we discouraged, burnt out, anxious, and full of self-doubt. About The Founder

Mia D. Lopez founded Seed For Faith in August 2019. At that time, Mia had recently graduated with her B.A. in Communications from Cal-State Dominguez Hills and was undergoing Post-Grad Depression. Despite all the good grades, internships, and networking, Mia was struggling to find a job in her field. In addition, her college relationship had ended poorly, her parents divorced, lost their family home, and she was having a difficult time finding her place in the world. She was in desperate need of a savior!

Mid-August 2019 Mia attended a Women Of Authority Luncheon hosted by Khalia Price, where she was filled with words of affirmations, testimonies, and encouragement. At the event she received a tiny jar with a mustard seed and was told "This how much faith you need in God and yourself for your situation to change!" It was there that something was moved within her. Mia left the luncheon feeling uplifted, inspired, and motivated to do everything in her power to change her life and outlook.

She went home, tied a string around the mustard-seed vial, and hung it on the corkboard over her bed. On the road to recovery, there were many nights when Mia had no idea how she was going to achieve her goals, and she would just stare at the mustard seed vial and talk to God about his plans for her. This tiny vial became her way of representing her confidence and security in the power of God in any situation. She then started to carry the tiny vial with her to the gym, interviews, and just about everywhere. While she was out, there were moments where she would be feel discouraged , anxious, and fearful, but after a glace of her Mustard Seed vial she would recall the talks and prayers she had with God, and become empowered. 

The Birth of Seed For Faith

While having the Mustard Seed handy at all times in her bag or pocket, this started become a hassle as she struggled to not squish it or lose it. As a result, Mia had the idea to attach the Mustard-Seed vial to the Tiger's Eye bracelet she wore daily. In doing so, this prevented any damage or loss that could take place. This unique idea sparked Mia to question, "What if I could provide a stylish and meaningful symbol of faith to everyone who is in need? I think this could really help others!", she thought.

Mia began making bracelets with the mustard seed vial for family and close friends. As others outside of her immediate circle desired to have one as well, that's when she knew she'd discovered a new path to her ministry. Soon enough, she created her business, Seed For Faith, where she continues to pour positivity, encouragement, hope, and faith into the heart of others.
